Marta Aarli, MA, LPC
I am a licensed psychotherapist, in practice since 1995. I have a Master's degree in Transpersonal Counseling Psychology from Naropa University in Boulder, Colorado (1995), and a Bachelor's degree in Vocal Music from the University of Wisconsin-Madison (1986). Over the past 30 years I have worked with a wide range of people who want to understand themselves more deeply, decrease their suffering, and improve the quality of their lives.
I have an online private psychotherapy practice in Colorado and offer dream sessions and groups internationally, online and in person. I'm on the board of directors for IASD, the International Association for the Study of Dreams, and a regular presenter at their annual conferences.
I'm also a singer and musician. I regularly improvise with other singers, instrumentalists and movers in an environment of creative collaboration. I offer sound journeys for relaxing deeply and exploring the imaginal realms, using my voice and instruments such as ngonis, tongue drums, singing bowls, small percussion instruments, chimes, and other objects that add to the landscape of beautiful and interesting sounds.
I have published three books of poetry, including one of dream poetry called Dream Worlds. I'm currently writing a book, a teaching memoir about dreaming for personal, collective and ancestral healing.
